Hi! My name is Victoria, and I'm the co-owner and founder of Waimea Bay.
I was inspired to create Waimea based on my love for fresh, healthy, flavorful food. I've always been drawn to the kitchen, and it's been where I've found my peace and joy for years. I was always helping my mom bake cookies, running neighborhood lemonade stands, and school bake sales. These moments sparked a lifelong passion for sharing my creations with people.
I had my first acai bowl in 2022 and have been addicted ever since. I wanted somewhere to get fresh acai close to home. March 5, 2025, I got the idea to do it myself. At 16 years old, I started Waimea Acai LLC and became a business owner. My mom and I started brainstorming and eventually bought our concession trailer on April 22, 2025, in Georgia. On the drive home, I was already building the menu and researching marketing strategies. 29 days later, on May 23, 2025, we had our grand opening of the Waimea Acai food truck.
Thanks to family, friends, and community, Waimea has grown into something tremendous. I'm finally able to watch my dream come to fruition. I can't wait to see how Waimea grows!

What is your favorite part of Waimea?
"My favorite part of co-owning this business is getting to make everything my own. From designing the bowl recipes to helping design the storefront, I've loved getting to create my visions and watch them come true." -Victoria
